Where Small-Town Values Meet Handmade Quality: Life at Ranch Hand
Welcome to Ranch Hand, where we don’t just make western gear — we live and breathe this life, every single day.
I’m Jesse Romo, raised on a ranch just outside Nanton, Alberta — the kind of place where the wind’s always blowin’, the horses are always movin’, and the coffee never stays hot long ‘cause you’re too dang busy to sit still.
My family and I are all-in on the western way of life. We team rope, ride in rodeos, train horses, and work cattle — not for show, but because it’s the life we know and love. And that’s exactly what fuels everything we build at Ranch Hand.
Built for Ranch Life — Because We Live It
At Ranch Hand, we’re not some slick city brand pretending to know cowboy life. We’re a small-town, family-run outfit that’s hauled hay at sunrise and hit the road for jackpots after supper. Every collar, headstall, and duffel bag we make is rooted in the same grit and pride we put into our animals.
We’ve paid the feed bill, fixed fence in the snow, and trained colts with more heart than sense — and we know how fast life can wear down cheap gear. That’s why we build our products to be tough, timeless, and tested by folks like us.
Handmade Leather Gear That Holds Up
Our specialty? Handmade leather dog collars, western duffel bags, and horse tack that doesn’t just look cowboy — it is cowboy.
- Durable collars for working dogs that don’t quit.
- Custom tack that fits right and holds strong through long days and late-night runs.
- Western duffels made for rodeo rigs, trail rides, and back-of-the-truck travel.
We’re not chasing trends. We’re making gear for ranchers, ropers, and real-deal riders — folks who expect their equipment to last longer than a pair of Ariats and not cost more than a month of hay.
Raised Right, Priced Fair
We believe good people deserve good gear — without boutique markups and flashy nonsense. Every item we sell is priced honestly, because we’ve been the ones budgeting for both vet bills and groceries.
Why do we keep prices fair?
Because we’ve lived the ranch hustle, where the money’s earned, the work is hard, and your gear better be tougher than a soggy spring calving season.
More Than a Store — It’s Family
When you order from Ranch Hand, you’re not buying from a faceless brand — you’re buying from my family. Every sale helps us keep doing what we love: working together, living the cowboy life, and building gear that honors tradition while holding up to the future.
From my family to yours — thanks for being part of this ride.
Let’s ride.
Jesse Romo
